Commissioners move special meetings to Tuesdays

Cottonwood County Commissioners will no longer hold weekly COVID-19 update meetings on Fridays.

At Friday's special meeting, the board voted that rather than having two meetings in some weeks, their special updates on the COVID-19 situation will be held on opposite Tuesdays from their regularly-scheduled Tuesday meetings. For June, the special meetings will be held June 9, 23 and 30. The board has regular meetings on the first and third Tuesdays of the month.

The board also agreed that those special meetings could be cancelled if no significant updates are necessary.
