The Windom Area school board will hold its regular monthly meeting Monday, beginning at 6:30 p.m., at the Windom City Hall council chambers.
Prior to the meeting, a public hearing will be held to discuss the proposed property tax abatement for parking lot construction, reconstruction and improvements.
The start of the meeting will address organizational matters, with election of officers and official designations.
The board will act to receive several donations to the district.
On the consent agenda, the board will act to approve two medical leaves of absence, approve additional ECSE para time and will hire a special education para, a long-term substitute teacher and an ECFE parent educator.
The board will hear a presentation from the introduction to manufacturing and engineering class.
The board is expected to act on early resignation incentive agreements with instrumental music instructor Eugene Hanchett, maintenance staff member Jens Hansen and elementary secretary Sherri Lyons.
The board will act on agreements having to do with the upcoming elementary school project, and will act on a resolution of intent to proceed with issuance of tax abatement and facilities maintenance bonds.
In other business, the board will act to approve the 2019-20 school calendar, review the budget and discuss staffing in the maintenance and custodial department.
