School could see budget increase
(Today's updates: 9 a.m., noon, 3 p.m.)
It appears that enrollment growth could lead to some increased costs for the Windom School District in the coming school year.
Superintendent Wayne Wormstadt prepared the board for the likelihood of a budget increase at Monday night's regular meeting. At the same time, Wormstadt was upbeat about the district's overall financial position.
He also stressed that this is preliminary information, prior to a preliminary budget. The increase could be in the neighborhood of $110,000.
