The Minnesota Department of Transportation announced that a culvert project between Westbrook and Storden has been completed and the detour on Highway 30 has been removed.
A box culvert was installed at Highwater Creek to improve drainage and enhance safety. Work began on Aug. 10. The project was originally slated to be completed in mid-October, but dry weather conditions permitted work to be completed much earlier than planned.
Town and Country Excavating LLC completed the project at a cost of $786,692.
