There is finally some light at the end of the tunnel on Windom’s First Avenue reconstruction project.
The major work is largely complete, with crews tackling the finishing touches before the project can officially be checked off the city’s list, according to Windom Street Superintendent Jon Ketzenberg.
“They’re working on the manholes and everything,” Ketzenberg said. “The past couple of days they’ve been cutting them out. Concrete is coming in to finish putting the manholes in and leveling them out.”
