The state-wide projected winners of Tuesday’s primary election fared well across the board in Cottonwood County.
For Governor, projected Republican winner Lisa Demuth tied in the county with Mike Lindell with 349 votes each, while Kendall Qualls received 193 votes. Amy Klobuchar handily won the DFL primary with 423 votes.
For U.S. Senator, projected Republican winner Michele Tafoya received 378 votes, while Adam Schwarze received 262 votes and Royce White had 109 votes. On the DFL side, projected winner Peggy Flanagan finished behind Angie Craig, with Craig receiving 232 votes and Flanagan receiving 211.
