The Cottonwood County Fair officially begins Wednesday, but behind-the-scenes activities for 4-H members got underway Monday as general exhibits were entered and judged.
The area was well represented at the fairgrounds, with exhibitors showcasing projects ranging from livestock and food presentations to a variety of other entries.
Cottonwood County 4-H Extension educator Crystal Reith said 164 4-H members had registered to exhibit at the fair as of Monday. The total includes both livestock and general exhibitors. Eighteen judges evaluated general exhibits, while five judges conducted livestock interviews.
