Pieces of the former Kastle Kingdom playground will soon help support the effort to build its replacement.
Friends of Windom Parks plans to auction items from the old playground during Hot Dog Days, set for July 16 in The Square in downtown Windom.
Stephanie Peterson, a board member with Friends of Windom Parks, said the auction will feature pieces from the former playground, along with items community members have made from salvaged wood.
