Dominic Jones’ career in water started at the bottom of a 20-foot trench.
It will end this fall in Jeffers, where Jones is retiring in September after 33 years as general manager of Red Rock Rural Water.
In all, he has spent four decades in the water business, helping guide a system that grew from about 400 members in its early years to 2,576 members serving 15 communities and rural areas across southwest Minnesota.
