For nearly 20 years, Windom’s Ashley Johnson has helped young girls step onto the Miss Riverfest stage — some of them fulfilling a dream they have had since childhood.
That tradition continues at 7 p.m. Monday when six Miss Riverfest candidates and 13 Little Miss Riverfest candidates take part in this year’s pageant at the Business, Arts and Recreation Center in Windom, located at 1012 Fifth Ave. in downtown Windom.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and Johnson said people should plan to arrive around 6:45 p.m. to find a good seat before the show begins.
This year’s Miss Riverfest candidates are Jocelyn Frank, Addison Spielman, Jeselle Sosa, Sadie Tjentland, Macee Duerksen and Addison Evans.
