Section 2A Girls First Round
The Mt. Lake Area/Comfrey girls golf team will join the boys team at the Section 2A Finals after qualifying for the final round as a team at Thursday’s opening round, played at North Links in Mankato.
The Wolverine girls finished the opening day of the tournament in third place in the team standings with a score of 414. Springfield held the team lead after the first day of the tournament, shooting a 377.
Individually for the Wolverines, Nevaeh Ott finished the first day in third place after shooting a 90. Amiyah Oakland was in 11th place with a 102. Reagan Pedersen shot a 106 and Danika Gohr scored a 116.
