The Windom Eagles wrapped up the regular season Tuesday with a strong 7-1 victory at Worthington.
The Trojans got on the board first, scoring in the bottom of the second, but the Eagles then scored seven unanswered runs.
Windom got on the board in the top of the third on a Hayden Tietz sacrifice fly, tying the game.
In the fifth, Matt Redman hit an RBI single, with two additional runs scoring on misplayed run-downs by the Trojans.
Stevie Meyer gave the Eagles a 5-1 lead in the sixth with a solo home run. Then, in the seventh, Tietz hit a sacrifice fly and Redman scored on a wild pitch.
Meyer, Redman and Ben Ludewig had two hits each in the win.
Jackson Veenker worked three innings of shutout relief to earn the pitching win. He didn’t allow a hit, walked three and struck out six.

RRC/WWG 001 000 0 = 1-7-1
Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove closed out the regular season Tuesday with an 8-1 loss to Springfield at Lamberton.
The Falcons used six different pitchers in the game, with each working one inning on the mound. But Springfield scored in four of the seven innings, with multiple runs in three.
The lone Falcon run of the game came in the third, when Jake Erickson scored on a wild pitch.
Jackson Jenniges had two hits in the loss.
Erickson took the pitching loss, working the first inning on the mound.
