The Windom Eagles were held under wraps at the plate Friday, as the Eagles dropped a 4-1 decision to Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial in Lake Crystal.
Windom was held to one hit in the game, as Matt Redman hit a one-out single in the third inning.
The lone Eagle run of the game came in the fourth inning. Stevie Meyer was hit by a pitch, moved to second on a passed ball, took third on a wild pitch and scored on a throwing error.
Jackson Joyce took the pitching loss, allowing six hits and three walks in five innings. He struck out three.

Mt. Lake Area/Comfrey used a patient eye at the plate to generate offense Friday, rolling to a 13-2 win over Martin County West at Welcome.
The Wolverines drew 15 walks in the game to go with seven hits.
MLAC plated six runs in the first inning, using a two-run Jason Wright single and a bases-clearing double from Tryton Khounsanthone.
MLAC added a run in the second on a wild pitch. In the fourth, Khounsanthone hit a two-run single. Wright added a two-run single in the fifth. Khalid Fontanez had a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the sixth with the final run scoring on a wild pitch.
Landon Simon earned the pitching win, allowing six hits. He walked two and struck out five.

Tracy-Milroy-Balaton capitalized on extra outs to claim a 3-2 victory over Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Friday in Lamberton.
Four Falcon errors led to a pair of unearned runs for the Panthers in the game.
RRC/WWG scored in the fifth on a Mason Krick RBI groundout. Jake Erickson added an RBI single in the sixth. But with the potential tying run at second, a fielder’s choice grounder ended the threat. The Falcons were retired in order in the seventh.
Jackson Jenniges took the complete-game pitching loss, scattering four hits and striking out four.
