Fairmont Invite
Windom’s girls placed seventh and the boys finished ninth at the Fairmont Invitational, held Friday. The girls played at Rose Lake Golf Club, while the boys were at Interlaken Golf Club.
Windom’s girls finished the 18-hole event with a score of 436. Blue Earth Area won the meet with a 374.
The Eagle boys finished with a 349. St. Peter won the meet with a 299.
Windom’s girls were led by Ali Lund, who placed eighth overall with a 93. Kami Visker shot a 106, followed by Kenzi-Ella Johnson with a 108 and Graycee Baloun with a 129.
The Eagle boys were led by Henry Visker, who placed fifth individually with a 77. Jack Elness shot an 89, followed by Owen Cowan with a 91 and Shaun Schunk with a 92.
TMB Triangular
Red Rock Central’s girls claimed a win while the boys were second at a triangular meet held Friday in Tracy.
The RRC girls won the meet, shooting a 235.
RRC’s boys shot a 235. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton won the meet with a 215.
Individually, RRC’s girls were paced by meet medalist Jorga Brown, who shot a 44. Josie Timm added a 53, followed by Abby Evans with a 63 and Paige Wondercheck with a 75.
RRC’s boys also had the meet medalist, as Finn Batalden shot a 43. Brekken Determan added a 55, followed by Jackson Radmaker with a 60 and Aiden Prechel with a 77.
BSC Event 2
The Windom boys were fourth and the girls were fifth at the second Big South Conference event, held Thursday. The boys played at Elmore while the girls played at Pipestone.
For the boys, Windom finished with a 174. Fairmont won the meet with a 164.
The Eagle girls shot a 208. Blue Earth Area won the meet with a 188.
Windom’s boys were paced by Henry Visker, who placed second at the meet with a one-over-par score of 37. Shaun Schunk added a 44, followed by Henrik Harries with a 46 and Jack Elness with a 47.
For the girls, Ali Lund led the way for the Eagles, shooting a 47. Kami Visker added a 51, followed by Kenzi-Ella Johnson with a 53. Graycee Baloun and Sophia Herding each shot a 57.
Red Rock Conference Event 2
The Southwest Minnesota Christian/Edgerton boys and Russell-Tyler-Ruthton girls captured top honors at the second Red Rock Conference events. The boys played at Slayton, while the girls played at Sanborn.
For the boys, SWCE won the meet with a 353. Mt. Lake Area/Comfrey was second with a 357. Red Rock Central placed seventh with a 412.
For the girls, RTR won the meet with a 374. MLAC was not far behind in third place, shooting a 379. RRC was fourth with a 460.
Individually for the boys, Maxton Fast led MLAC with an 83, taking second individually. Waylon Winters shot an 89, followed by Aidan Olson with a 91 and Brayden Oakland with a 94.
RRC’s boys were led by Max Erickson with a 90. Finn Batalden shot a 92, followed by Henry Stavnes with a 113 and Jackson Radmaker with a 117.
For the girls, MLAC was paced by Reagan Pedersen, who placed second individually with an 84. Nevaeh Ott was third overall with an 86, followed by Danika Gohr with a 104 and Amiyah Oakland with a 105.
RRC’s girls were led by Jorga Brown, who took fourth overall with an 87. Josie Timm shot a 111, followed by Abby Evans with a 118 and Paige Wondercheck with a 144.
United Invite
The Mt. Lake Area/Comfrey girls placed sixth and the boys seventh at an 18-hole tournament hosted by Sleepy Eye United, held at the Oakdale Golf Club near Buffalo Lake on Wednesday.
MLAC’s girls scored a 410. Dawson-Boyd won the meet with a 348.
The Wolverine boys scored a 356. Marshall won the meet with a 296.
The Wolverine girls were led by Nevaeh Ott, who placed seventh individually with an 88. Reagan Pedersen shot a 96, followed by Amiyah Oakland with a 104 and Taryn Marcy with a 122.
Brayden Oakland and Aidan Olson led the Wolverine boys, each scoring an 85. Maxton Fast and Waylon Winters each added a 93.
