The Windom Eagle golfers captured a split of a Big South Conference meet Friday, with the boys defeating Blue Earth Area 176-186 and the girls falling 193-219 at the Windom Country Club.
Windom’s boys had a balanced performance, led by Henry Visker who placed second individually in the meet with a 41. Shaun Schunk fired a 42, followed by Jack Elness with a 46. Carter Miller and Henrik Harries each shot a 47.
For the girls, Ali Lund took second individually at the meet with a 45, but BEA had five players in the top six at the meet. Kenzi-Ella Johnson added a 54, followed by Morgan Roskamp and Sophia Herding each with a 60.
