The Cottonwood County Public Works Department announced late last week that work to complete the bridge replacement project on County Road 15 near the Windom Country Club will begin April 13.
On April 13, County Road 15 will be closed to traffic just west of County Road 13 (River Road).
Work to be completed includes installation of rip rap, grading, bridge painting and paving.
The work is expected to be completed in roughly a month, depending on weather. During that time, the bridge will be fully closed to all traffic. People who would usually use the bridge should plan alternate routes or follow detour signs. Access to the Windom Country Club will be open during the project.
