The Windom School Board moved quickly through its agenda Monday, completing its work session in just 14 minutes.
During that time, the board approved a new phone service with Advanced Tech, Inc. and authorized the creation of a director position for the Soaring Eagles Childcare Center.
New phone system
Technology Director Ryan Christoffer presented details on a new cloud-based phone system. The district selected Advanced Tech after reviewing proposals from five companies.
According to the proposal, the system will be built around the 3CX platform and will include web-based administration, centralized management of extensions and call flows, real-time reporting and call analytics, multi-site capabilities and full hosting and maintenance by Advanced Tech.
