The 42nd annual Windom Farm and Home Show will return Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Windom Area Middle/High School, featuring a full lineup of vendors, seminars, children’s activities and — new this year — homesteading classes.
Admission is free.
Beth Scrivens, a member of the Farm & Home Show committee who has helped coordinate this year’s event, said organizers are excited to introduce the new classes.
“The highlights this year is there’s two homesteading classes,” Scrivens said. “There’s a ‘Getting Started with Sourdough’ with The Local Loaf from town, and then there are ‘10 Helpful Garden Tips’ from Brandt Gardens and Greenhouse out of Lakefield.”
The sourdough class will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by gardening tips at 11 a.m. Scrivens said interest has been strong.
“We have a lot of people that are very excited for that this year,” she said.
