The Windom boys basketball team dominated the first half Friday, building a commanding lead on its way to a 78-48 win over Truman/Martin Luther/Granada-Huntley-East Chain in Windom.
The Eagles used an 11-0 run to open a nine-point lead, then closed the half with a 30-11 burst.
Windom shot 44% from the field for the game and capitalized on turnovers to score 21 points. The Eagles also had 26 assists on 30 made field goals.
Elliot Serreyn led the Eagles with 20 points. Henry Visker added 18 points and Nick Walinga dropped in a career-high 14.

MLAC 22-45 = 67
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey dominated the second half Saturday afternoon, surging to a 67-51 victory over Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart in Mt. Lake.
BLHS held a four-point halftime lead and pushed the lead to eight early in the second half before the Wolverines went on a 14-0 run, taking the lead for good.
Aidan Olson poured in 30 points for the Wolverines in the win. Maxton Fast added 16 points.

MCC 46-39 = 85
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey couldn’t keep pace with a hot-shooting Murray County Central team in the first half before the Rebels dominated the second half for an 85-48 victory at Slayton.
The Wolverines hit a couple of cold spells in the opening half, which allowed the Rebels to open up a 16-point halftime lead.
But in the second half, MCC controlled the game, holding the Wolverines to six field goals and outscoring MLAC 39-18 over the final 18 minutes of play.
Aidan Olson led MLAC with 18 points. Micah Fast added 11 points in the loss.

RRC 25-24 = 49
Southwest Minnesota Christian wore Red Rock Central down in the first half and pulled away throughout the second half Friday, claiming an 81-49 win at Lamberton.
The Eagles outscored the Falcons 46-22 in the paint and shot 45% from the field for the game. SWC also outscored RRC 18-6 from the free throw line.
Henry Stavnes led RRC with 25 points. Finn Batalden and Jake Erickson each scored six points in the loss.
