Voters in the Windom Area School District have voted down a proposed $27.5 million bond to construct an arts and athletics complex on the school’s campus, as well as an additional $1.65 million bond to update athletic practice fields on the school campus.
On the first question, asking for the $27.5 million construction bond, 728 voters voted yes, while 1,002 voted no.
On the second question, asking for the $1.65 million additional construction bond, 660 voted yes while 1,061 voted no. However, question two automatically failed because it was contingent on the first question passing.
