Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey surged in the second half Tuesday night, rallying from eight points down to claim a 59-51 victory over Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda at Mt. Lake.
The Coyotes held a 39-31 lead early in the second half, but MLAC went on a 12-2 run to take the lead. After HLOF tied the game, the Wolverines went on another run, building a nine-point advantage before sealing the victory.
Mikaya Schroeder led the Wolverines with 21 points. Julia Brinkman added 15 points in the win.
