Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey turned defense into offense Thursday night, converting turnovers into points in a 65-32 victory over Red Rock Central at Mt. Lake.
The Wolverines forced the Falcons into several turnovers early in the game, scoring several fast-break lay-ups in the first half. MLAC also had good balance in the game, with 10 players scoring, including eight scoring in the opening half.
RRC was unable to mount a comeback in the second half, as the Wolverines held RRC to six field goals in the second half and 13 for the game.
Ellamae Peters led MLAC with 15 points in the win. Mikaya Schroeder chipped in 12 points.
Brailynn Olson and Kendra Schroeder each scored eight points to lead RRC.
