Cobras earn split, Falcons go 0-3
Windom/Mt. Lake/Butterfield-Odin split a pair of matches and Red Rock Central went 0-3 at a quadrangular meet held Tuesday in Lamberton.
The Cobras opened the night with a 38-31 loss to St. Clair/Mankato Loyola, then picked up a 48-25 win over RRC to close the evening.
RRC started with a 45-30 loss to BOLD, then fell 41-33 to St. Clair/Mankato Loyola.
Against SCML, the Cobras had falls from Jacob Lopez (121) and Damien Davison (160). Hyatt Hansen (139) won by major decision and Matthew Voehl (127) won by decision. The Cobras also received two forfeit wins.
In RRC’s opening match against BOLD, the Falcons had falls from Mason Weber (107), Bryson Marsh (133), Marshal Willhite (139) and Dawson Mariner (285).
Against SCML, RRC had falls from Braxton Weber (107), Mason Weber (114), Jackson Radmaker (121), Willhite (139) and Jonah Skarupa (215). Mariner (285) won by decision.
Against RRC, WMLBO had falls from Lopez (127), Hyatt Hansen (133) and Dagen Hansen (152). The Cobras also received five forfeit wins.
Against WMLBO, RRC had falls from Braxton Weber (107) and Skarupa (215). Willhite (139) won by major decision and Mason Weber (114) won by decision.
