The Windom Area girls hockey team’s defense stood tall much of the game, but the offense couldn’t get going Tuesday in a 3-0 loss at Worthington.
The Eagles were outshot 45-14 in the game, including 35-10 over the final two periods.
Worthington broke a scoreless tie 7:13 into the second period, then added a second goal at the 11:20 mark of the second. The Trojans sealed the win with an insurance goal late in the third period.
Eagle goalie Fiona Robillard finished with 42 saves in the loss.
