Staff from Windomnet will hold a public informational Q&A session Wednesday evening for customers to learn about the upcoming change from cable television to streaming video.
The informational session will be held at 6 p.m. at the Windom Community Center Senior Dining Room.
Staff will provide information on the change of the city’s cable television service to a streaming video service, including how to hook up a streaming device like a Roku or Firestick. The goal is to make the change to streaming video as easy as possible for customers.
The deadline to sign up for preferred conversion from cable TV to streaming is Dec. 12. Customers can stop by or call City Hall (507-831-6129) for information or to sign up.
The current cable TV system will be disconnected on Dec. 31.
