At Tuesday’s meeting, the Windom City Council approved a measure to immediately re-open Island Park to the public.
Work on the new berm in the park is essentially complete. However, the public is asked to continue to stay away from the berm due to the ongoing hydroseeding process. However, other parts of the park, including the playground, are now open.
