At last week’s meeting, the Windom City Council gave its OK for Windom Area Health to host the inaugural Turkey Trot 5K.
The event will be held on Nov. 15 and will run from the Windom Area Elementary School parking lot to downtown, circling the Square before returning to the school for the finish.
Roads along the route will be closed from 7:30 a.m. until 10 a.m.
