The Windom Police Department announced that an arrest has been made, following a series of burglaries in the community recently.
On Thursday at 11:49 a.m., officers executed a search warrant at a residence in the 100 block of Ninth Street regarding the burglaries.
Officers located a stolen CZ 470 .22-caliber rifle, a cooler, an Oakley hat, a battery charger, DeWalt tools and medical cards belonging to an individual who had reported them as stolen.
Following the search, officers arrested 26-year-old Henry Alvarez-Hernandez of Windom, who was charged with first-degree burglary/occupied/non-accomplice present.
The investigation into the burglaries is still ongoing.
