The Wings United boys soccer team couldn’t match the offensive output from St. Peter Thursday, as the Saints knocked the Wings out of the Section 2A playoffs with a 3-1 decision at St. Peter.
St. Peter got on the board in the opening half, then stretched the lead to 3-0 early in the second half.
The Wings were able to cut the deficit to 3-1 on a goal from Bryan Ramirez-Gomez in the second half, but the Wings weren’t able to climb any closer despite 13 shots on goal for the game.
