The Windom Eagle volleyball team closed out an undefeated Big South Conference Gold Division campaign Tuesday with a 3-0 sweep at Redwood Valley.
The Eagles used a balanced offensive effort to take command of the match early, winning the first two sets. Redwood Valley then raced to a 15-5 lead in the third set before the Eagles stormed back, winning 25-23.
Addison Colbert went 12-of-12 serving with three aces. Anja Nielsen was 14-of-15 with three aces and Ali Lund was 13-of-14 with three aces.
Kenzi Meyeraan led the Eagles at the net with eight kills. Colbert added seven and Lund had six. Sadie Tjentland added four solo blocks.
Nielsen finished with 14 set assists. Haidyn Sammons tallied 23 digs.

RRC 06-18-09 = 0
Red Rock Conference-leading Russell-Tyler-Ruthton made quick work of Red Rock Central Tuesday night, rolling to a 3-0 sweep at Lamberton.
The Falcons sputtered early, as the Knights cruised to a 25-6 opening set win. RRC did much of its offensive damage in set two, but RTR was able to pull away late for a 25-18 win. The Knights then quickly closed out the match in set three.
Abby Evans led RRC with eight kills. Kendra Schroeder was 5-of-5 serving. Natasha Erickson finished with 17 set assists. Amelia Ubl had a team-high 10 digs.
Edgerton 21-25-25-25 = 3
MLAC 25-20-13-22 = 1
Edgerton seized momentum in the second set and never let go Tuesday, rallying for a 3-1 victory over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey in Mt. Lake.
The Wolverines surged to the lead in the opening set and held off a late Edgerton charge, winning set one 25-21. Edgerton regrouped, winning set two and earning a dominant win in set three.
In set four, the Dutchmen jumped to an early lead before MLAC battled back, eventually taking the lead late in the set. But Edgerton was able to rally late, securing the 25-22 win to close out the match.
Kylie Phommachan led MLAC with three ace serves. Nadia Phommachan and Ashlyn Pfeiffer had two aces each.
Gracie Peters and Emily Wilson each had six kills. Pfeiffer addedfive kills.
Nadia Phommachan finished with 21 set assists. Ellamae Peters had 11 digs.
