The planned Oct. 1 demolition of a Windom landmark has been pushed back.
Windom Street Superintendent Jon Ketzenberg noted that demolition work at Kastle Kingdom playground will not take place until next week, at the earliest.
Ketzenberg stated that crews are currently working to complete repairs to several alleyways in Windom. The city also is working through plans to potentially donate or sell some of the wood from the playground to people who helped construct the park or people who want a souvenir from the park.
Kastle Kingdom was constructed by community volunteers in 1995.
