Redwood Valley Invite
The Windom Eagle boys cross country team placed second and the girls were fifth at Thursday’s Redwood Valley Invitational, held at the Redwood Falls Golf Club.
The Eagle boys finished with 57 team points. Redwood Valley, the state’s top-ranked Class A team, won the meet with 32 points.
The Eagle girls finished with 133 points. Redwood Valley won the meet with 36 points.
The Eagle boys finished with five top-20 finishers, led by Bryce Green’s sixth-place time of 17:10. Nolan Tjentland finished 10th (17:25), followed by Braylen Lyons in 11th (17:31), Isaac Bordewyk in 14th (17:42) and Caelen Ralston in 16th (17:45).
The Eagle girls were led by Macie Carlson’s 20th-place time of 23:54. Jesselle Sosa was 26th (25:09), followed by Penelope Roberts in 31st (25:56), Gretta Smith in 35th (26:49) and Jocelyn Frank took 36th (26:50).
