The Windom Area School Board approved its 2026 preliminary levy and took steps toward a possible building project at Monday’s meeting.
The building project would upgrade the existing fine arts and athletic facilities, should it receive approval from voters in February of 2026. The project would be financed through the issuance of school building bonds. More on that later.
2026 levy down
Business Manager Holly Anderson reported that the 2026 levy is projected to decrease by $56,897, or 1.21%, compared to last year’s levy.
