The Windom Eagle volleyball team remained undefeated for the season Thursday night, battling its way to a 3-0 sweep at Luverne.
The Eagles had a strong night in the back row, not allowing a single ace serve in the match.
Meanwhile, Windom’s offense was led by Adison Hogan, who blasted 12 kills. Ali Lund and Addison Colbert added six kills each.
Lund was 12-of-15 serving with four aces. Anja Nielsen and Haidyn Sammons each added a pair of aces and Ember Struck was 16-of-16 with an ace.
Nielsen had a team-high 16 set assists. Sammons finished with 24 digs.

MLAC 20-19-15 = 0
St. James used momentum late in the first two sets to take the lead, then closed the match in commanding fashion Thursday, earning a 3-0 sweep over Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey at Comfrey.
The opening two sets saw the Wolverines and Saints go back-and-forth much of the way before the Saints rallied late, scoring the last handful of points in each set for the win.
St. James then started the third set in dominant fashion, building a 13-4 lead on its way to a 25-15 win.
Ashlyn Pfeiffer led MLAC with nine kills.
Gracie Peters had an ace serve and six digs. Nadia Phommachan finished with eight set assists.
