Panther Invitational
The Windom Eagle boys cross country team picked up a dominant meet win Thursday, rolling to the title at the Panther Invitational, held in Tracy.
Windom finished with 43 team points. Murray County Central/Fulda was second with 69 points.
The Eagle girls finished seventh in the team standings with 138 points. Canby-Minneota won the girls title with 33 points.
The Eagle boys were led by a quartet of top-10 finishers, led by individual champion Bryce Green with a time of 17:20. Braylen Lyons finished third (17:43), followed by Isaac Bordewyk in seventh (18:01) and Nolan Tjentland in ninth (18:05). Kieran Anderson was 28th (20:24).
Macie Carlson led the Eagle girls, finishing with a 22nd-place time of 23:34. Penelope Roberts placed 32nd (25:06), followed by Gretta Smith in 40th (25:59), Jesselle Sosa in 44th (26:19) and Jocelyn Frank in 48th (26:53).
