In the Windom Area High School band, Bryan Macario played percussion, keeping the beat, often on bass drum.
Now he keeps the beat of Windom Police Department.
On June 9, the nearly-lifelong Windom resident became Officer Macario. Hired at 19 years of age, he says of the department, “I’m grateful they trusted me, being that young.”
Since then, Macario has turned 20, completed most of his training and become convinced he chose a good career path.
