The 144th annual Cottonwood County Fair will get underway next week at the fairgrounds in Windom.
The fair will open with 4-H general exhibit judging on Monday from 10 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Commercial buildings will be set up Tuesday afternoon, with open class exhibits arriving Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the Herman Vossen building.
The main events of the fair will begin Wednesday (Aug. 6) and run through Aug. 9. That includes food stands and vendors, beer garden, commercial exhibits, the bingo stand, Charger Back 9 mini golf and Bounce Around Inflatables.
4-H livestock judging will begin Thursday.
Admission to all the featured events is free of charge, thanks to contributions from numerous sponsors.
