Another Riverfest is in the books, but Windom Chamber of Commerce Director Darci Jones said she’s happy with how everything turned out this year.
“I feel Riverfest turned out well. We had a couple of hiccups, but who doesn’t when you try to plan for a huge, week-long event,” Jones said.
Jones said one of the hiccups was a fireworks miscommunication. The show was scheduled for Friday but took place on Saturday instead.
Despite the last-minute change, she was happy with how it went.
“I do apologize for that happening, but we did it on Saturday and it was a great show,” Jones said.
