This past Thursday brought out sunshine and the smiling faces of many Windom Area Schools middle school and high school students throughout the community.
Not only did these smiles beam from the joy of the last day of school for these students, but they also came from the joy of helping clean up the community.
The help came to a variety of locations such as the parks, the environmental trail and the Community Center.
Students picked up litter in these locations and they even helped plant greenery in front of the Community Center. They seemed to enjoy making a difference!
