Section 2A Girls Day One
The Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey girls golf team was third in the team standings and will advance to the second day of the Section 2A Tournament, after Tuesday’s opening round at North Links in Mankato.
The Wolverines scored a 420 team total. Sleepy Eye United led the team competition after the opening round with a 400.
Individually, Nevaeh Ott led the Wolverines with a 94, finishing the first day of the tournament in third place. Reagan Pedersen shot a 98 and was tied for sixth place. Amiyah Oakland added a 109 and Danika Gohr shot a 119.
