Section 3AA Boys Day One
The Windom Eagle boys golf team will not have any participants on the second day of the Section 3AA Tournament after Thursday’s opening round at Oakdale Golf Club near Buffalo Lake.
The Eagles finished 11th in the team standings with a 343 team score.
Landon Pillatzki and Alex Cory led the Eagles, each shooting an 84. Henry Visker shot an 87 and Jack Elness had an 88 to round out the top four scores for the Eagles.
The top five teams, plus the top 25% of players not on a qualifying team, advance to next week’s section finals.
New London-Spicer had the top team score from Thursday’s opening round, scoring a 297. Other teams advancing to the second day are New Ulm, Morris/Chokio-Alberta, Marshall and Minnewaska.
