The Windom Eagle baseball team wrapped up the regular season Thursday, picking up a 5-3 victory at Worthington.
The game had originally been scheduled to be at Island Park. As a result, the Eagles were the designated home team for the game.
Windom got on the board early, scoring in the bottom of the first. Jackson Joyce plated a run with a ground out. Matthew Voehl added an RBI single, with a run scoring on an error.
The Trojans got a run back in the top of the fourth, but the Eagles capped their scoring in the bottom of the inning. Jackson Anderson and Quintin Tietz each hit an RBI single.
Three Eagle pitchers combined to hold the Trojans to nine hits and two walks while striking out six. Charles Erickson worked two innings in relief to pick up the pitching victory, allowing four hits and a walk while fanning two.
