Section 3AA Girls Day One
The Windom Eagle girls golf team will have two participants on the second day of the Section 3AA Tournament, following Wednesday’s opening round at Oakdale Golf Club near Buffalo Lake.
Ada Lund shot an 89, putting her in 10th place overall. Ali Lund scored a 99, sitting in a tie for 18th place, individually. Each advances to the second day of the tournament.
The top five teams in the standings, plus the top 25% of remaining individuals not on a qualifying team advance to the second day of the tournament.
Olivia Joyce shot a 131 for the incomplete Eagle team.
Minnewaska held a commanding lead in the team standings after the first day of the tournament, shooting a 321 team total. Other teams advancing in entirety to the second day of the tournament are New London-Spicer, Marshall, Fairmont and Litchfield.
