The Windom Eagle softball team closed out the regular season Thursday with a commanding performance, earning a 6-0 victory at Worthington.
The Eagles got on the board in the top of the first, scoring on a pop-up sacrifice.
Windom stretched the lead in the second. Gracie Buckentin ripped a two-run double and Charlee Huska hit an RBI single.
Buckentin added a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the third and Addison Evans capped the scoring with an RBI single in the fifth.
Evans and Alivia Letcher each had two hits in the win.
Anja Nielsen held the Trojans to four hits, walked one and struck out 16 to earn the pitching win.

Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey closed the regular season strong Thursday, rolling to a 13-3 victory over Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda at Comfrey.
The Wolverines came out firing in the bottom of the first inning, plating eight runs. Ashlyn Pfeiffer, Ella Dockter, Julia Brinkman and Ellamae Peters each had an RBI single in the inning.
The Wolverines put the game away with a five-run fourth. Phithsada Phoumivong ripped a two-run double and Brinkman and Peters each had an RBI single.
That was plenty of support for Pfeiffer inside the pitching circle. She held the Coyotes to five hits, walked one and struck out four.

Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove saw a late lead slip away Thursday, as Adrian-Ellsworth rallied for a 14-9 victory at Walnut Grove.
The Falcons trailed 4-0 before scoring six runs in the bottom of the third. The Falcons scored on a Riley Jones RBI double, a passed ball and two Dragon errors.
In the fourth, Leah Carter smashed a two-run home run, giving the Falcons an 8-4 lead.
The Dragons cut the deficit to 8-7 in the sixth, but Carter plated a run with a groundout, pushing the lead to 9-7.
But the Dragons rallied in the top of the seventh, tying the game on a two-run home run, then tacking on five more runs to seal the win.
Carter had two hits in the loss for the Falcons.
Carlie Ross took the pitching loss.
