The Windom School Board approved the 2025–26 band and choir trip to Disney World and also approved the cheerleading proposal to compete in two competitions starting in 2025–26.
The board also heard administrative reports from the principals and the superintendent.
Band and choir trip
The WAS band and choir trip for 2025–26 has been scheduled for March 23–28. The trip will include a stay in Orlando, where both the band and choir will perform at Walt Disney World. The band students will perform March 25, and the choir students will perform the next day.
The cost is an estimated $1,700 per student, and students will be responsible for paying their portion, which may include fundraising.
