Big South Conference Tourney – Girls
Windom’s Ada Lund earned all-conference while Ali Lund received honorable mention following the Big South Conference Girls Tournament, played Monday at Dacotah Ridge near Morton.
Ada Lund placed 12th in the conference tournament, shooting a 103. Her points from the conference tournament and previous division events warranted an all-conference berth.
Ali Lund took 11th in the conference tournament with a 101. Her points put her in position to receive honorable mention.
Olivia Joyce shot a 121 during the conference tournament.
Windom played the conference tournament with an incomplete team. Marshall won the team title, shooting a 397.
Big South Conference Tourney – Boys
The Windom boys golf team finished 11th in the team standings at the Big South Conference Boys Tournament, held Tuesday at Dacotah Ridge near Morton.
Windom finished the tourney shooting a 364. St. Peter won the team title with a 312.
Carter Rossow led the Eagle boys with a 90. Landon Pillatzki and Shaun Schunk each shot a 91 and Alex Cory shot a 92.
All-conference positions were determined using the scores from the conference tournament, as well as the three divisional events. The Eagles did not have any players earning all-conference or honorable mention.
Red Rock Conference Tourney – Girls
Murray County Central captured top honors at the Red Rock Conference Tournament, held Tuesday at GreatLife Golf Course in Worthington.
MCC shot a 366. Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey was third with a 392 and Red Rock Central was fourth with a 438.
Individually, MLAC’s Nevaeh Ott finished third with an 88. Reagan Pedersen shot a 97, followed by Khya Boldt with a 100 and Danika Gohr with a 107.
RRC was led by Jorga Brown, who shot a 91 for fourth place. Ary Weber shot a 95, followed by Josie Timm with a 109 and Paige Wondercheck with a 143.
MCC also won the overall conference championship, with a four-event total score of 1,471. MLAC was third with a 1,616. RRC played one of the events with an incomplete team and did not finish with a score in the team standings as a result.
The 10-player all-conference team was determined using a player’s scores from the conference tournament, as well as their two best scores from the three previous 18-hole events.
RRC’s Jorga Brown wound up as the overall conference champion, scoring a 257.
MLAC had two all-conference players. Nevaeh Ott placed fourth with a score of 266, while Reagan Pedersen placed 10th with a 298.
Red Rock Conference Tourney – Boys
Southwest Christian/Edgerton took top team honors at the Red Rock Conference Tournament, held Tuesday at GreatLife Golf Course in Worthington.
SWCE shot a 340. Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey was second with a 349 and Red Rock Central was sixth with a 386.
Individually, MLAC’s Aidan Olson placed fourth in the tournament with an 84, followed by Maxton Fast with an 85. Brayden Oakland shot an 87 and Landen Rempel had a 93.
Keagan Steen led RRC with an 89. Mason Huffman shot a 92, followed by Max Erickson with a 99 and Bryson Marsh with a 106.
MLAC won the overall conference championship, with a four-event total score of 1,339. SWCE was second with a 1,366. RRC finished sixth with 1,553.
The 10-player all-conference team was determined using a player’s scores from the conference tournament, as well as their two best scores from the three previous 18-hole events.
MLAC’s Aidan Olson was the overall conference individual champion, scoring a 239. Maxton Fast placed third with a 247 and Brayden Oakland tied for fourth with a 248.
