RRC Boys Event 2
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey’s boys golf team ran away with the win at the second 18-hole Red Rock Conference event, held Tuesday at Rolling Hills near Westbrook.
MLAC shot a 310. Heron Lake-Okabena-Fulda/Westbrook-Walnut Grove was second with a 324. Red Rock Central finished fifth with a 360.
MLAC was led by day two medalist Aidan Olson, who shot a 75. Brayden Oakland had a 77, followed by Maxton Fast with a 78 and Landon Strom with an 80.
Keagan Steen led RRC with an 82, followed by Bryson Marsh with an 88, Mason Huffman with an 89 and Brekken Determan with a 101.
RRC Girls Event 2
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey’s girls golf team was second, while Red Rock Central played with an incomplete team at the second 18-hole Red Rock Conference event, held Tuesday at the Slayton Country Club.
MLAC shot a 412 team score. Murray County Central won the meet with a 371.
The Wolverines were led by Amiyah Oakland, who shot a 99. Reagan Pedersen finished with a 102, followed by Nevaeh Ott with a 105 and Danika Gohr with a 106.
RRC was led by day-two medalist Jorga Brown, who shot an 83. Ary Weber had a 106 and Paige Wondercheck shot a 160.
