The Windom Eagle baseball team couldn’t get its offense on track Tuesday afternoon, dropping a 3-0 decision at Pipestone.
Arrow pitcher Weston Reinhard held the Eagles to three hits in the game.
Meanwhile, the Arrows capitalized on a couple of hits and an error to do all their damage in the bottom of the first inning against Eagle pitcher Charles Erickson. Erickson took the loss on the mound, shutting the Arrows down the rest of the way. He allowed five hits without a walk and struck out eight.
Soren Nielsen had two of the Eagles’ three hits in the loss.

Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove broke through in the top of the seventh inning Tuesday, rallying for a 6-3 win over Edgerton/Southwest Christian at Edgerton.
Falcon pitcher Hudsen Jenniges and ESWC pitcher Trevin Prins were locked in a pitchers duel much of the way, with the Falcons held to five hits while the Dutchmen were held to just two hits in the game.
ESWC scored two unearned runs in the bottom of the second and took a 3-0 lead with a run in the fifth.
In the seventh, The Falcons loaded the bases with a single and two errors. Trenton Blomgren and Jordan Therkilsen hit RBI singles. Abe Stavnes was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded. Jackson Jenniges and Hudsen Jenniges each followed with RBI singles, giving the Falcons a 6-3 lead.
Hudsen Jenniges worked the first six innings, allowing two hits and three walks while striking out 11. Austin Imker struck out the side in order in the bottom of the seventh, earning a save.
