BSC Gold Division Boys Event 2
The Windom boys golf team placed first at Thursday’s Big South Conference Gold Division golf tournament, held at the Redwood Falls Golf Club.
The Eagles scored a 163 team total. Blue Earth Area was second with 166.
Carter Rossow led the Eagle boys, scoring a 39, which was good for second place, individually. Henry Visker shot a 40, followed by Landon Pillatzki with a 41 and Alex Cory with a 43.
BSC Gold Division Girls Event 2
The Windom girls golf team played incomplete at Thursday’s Big South Conference Gold Division tournament, held at Minn-Iowa Golf Course in Elmore.
Blue Earth Area won the meet on its home course, scoring a 191.
Ada Lund placed second, individually, shooting a 43. Ali Lund finished with a 56 and Olivia Joyce scored a 66.
RRC Boys Event 1
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey’s boys golf team placed second and Red Rock Central was sixth at the first Red Rock Conference team event of the season Thursday at the Adrian Country Club.
MLAC scored a 340. RRC shot a 401. Southwest Christian/Edgerton took first in the meet with a 336.
MLAC was led by Maxton Fast, Brayden Oakland and Aidan Olson, who each shot an 84 for the 18-hole event. Layken Marcy added an 88.
Keagan Steen led RRC with a 92, followed by Mason Huffman with a 99 and Max Erickson and Brekken Determan, each with a 105.
RRC Girls Event 1
Mt. Lake Area-Comfrey’s girls golf team was third and Red Rock Central fourth at the first Red Rock Conference team event of the season, held Thursday at the Mt. Lake Golf Course.
MLAC scored a 416 while RRC shot a 481. Murray County Central finished first with a 377.
Individually, MLAC’s Nevaeh Ott tied for second place, shooting an 88. Khya Boldt fired a 106, followed by Danika Gohr with a 110 and Reagan Pedersen with a 112.
RRC was led by Jorga Brown, who was the day-one medalist with an 83. Ary Weber shot a 108, followed by Josie Timm with a 122 and Paige Wondercheck with a 168.
