Three members of the Windom Area Schools high school robotics team will once again make the trek to Dallas, Texas when they compete in the Vex Robotics World Championship.
The Masked Bandits, a sophomore trio made up of sophomores Jesus Guillen Rodriguez, Mynor Mendoza Lopez and Caelen Ralston, qualified for the competition earlier this year.
Their first day of competition is Tuesday and they wrap up the competition on May 8.
The Masked Bandits have qualified for the world competition three times, but this is their first time as high schoolers. They qualified as sixth-graders and as eighth-graders but only competed during their eighth-grade year.
